DevSecOps Engineer Salesforce CRM Platform, Release & Security Engineering
Role Purpose: To manage secure release engineering, environment controls, deployment processes, and DevSecOps practices for Salesforce CRM and its supporting components, ensuring stable and secure change delivery.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain deployment, release, and environment management practices for Salesforce CRM.
- Support CI/CD or equivalent release controls for configuration, code, and integration changes.
- Embed security checks and controls into the application delivery lifecycle.
- Support secure handling of secrets, configuration, access controls, and release approvals.
- Work with engineers and architects to ensure that platform and integration changes meet security and operational requirements.
- Support remediation tracking, vulnerability handling, evidence preparation, and audit/security review readiness.
- Maintain deployment runbooks, rollback plans, and release procedures.
- Assist with incident analysis where release, security, or configuration issues may be contributing factors.
Requirements
- 35 years of relevant experience in DevSecOps, release engineering, environment management, or secure delivery practices.
- Experience in DevOps / DevSecOps / release engineering / platform operations.
- Good understanding of secure SDLC, deployment controls, and environment governance.
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms and integration-driven enterprise systems.
- Strong awareness of security and operational control principles.
Preferred
- Experience with Salesforce deployment processes and supporting cloud components.
- Experience in regulated or government environments.
- Relevant cloud or security certifications.
