Job Description
- Manage and support platform services leveraging GitOps principles and best practices.
- Design, build, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline application and infrastructure deployments.
- Develop automation solutions using scripting languages and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks.
- Monitor platform performance, investigate system issues, and conduct root cause analysis to ensure service reliability.
- Partner with development teams to optimize software delivery, deployment, and operational efficiency.
- Oversee application deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
- Administer and support containerized applications and orchestration platforms.
- Implement and maintain observability capabilities, including monitoring, logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.
- Participate in incident management, problem resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and configuration management standards across the platform.
- Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support runbooks.
The Successful Applicant
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration, configuration, and application deployments.
- Exposure to GitOps methodologies and tools such as Argo CD or Flux .
- Experience working with containerization technologies, including Docker and OCI-compliant containers.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform , Ansible , or similar automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of observability and monitoring solutions, including Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry , and related technologies.
- Experience managing artifact repositories such as Nexus or JFrog Artifactory .
- Good understanding of platform security, secrets management, vulnerability management, and security best practices.
- Strong experience supporting and administering Linux-based environments .
- Familiarity with Agile , Scrum , or other modern software development methodologies.
