Join a well-established global organisation where you will work closely with software development and infrastructure teams to optimise, deploy and support business-critical applications in a Microsoft Azure environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy, manage and optimise cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure PaaS and IaaS environments.
Work closely with software developers to support application deployment, optimisation and production reliability.
Implement and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for containerised applications, including deployment, scaling and monitoring.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Provision and configure infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Manage SQL and MongoDB database instances, including backup, scaling and performance optimisation.
Deploy and monitor Apache Kafka clusters and Kafka Connect across SaaS or PaaS environments.
Develop automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell or other relevant scripting languages.
Implement monitoring and observability solutions for real-time performance tracking, alerting and incident response.
Integrate DevSecOps tools for vulnerability scanning, code quality and security compliance.
Troubleshoot incidents and improve the stability, scalability and efficiency of applications and platforms.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform or monitoring-related certifications would be advantageous.
Minimum 2 years of DevOps, Cloud Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering experience.
Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure, including both PaaS and IaaS services.
Practical experience in application deployment and supporting software development teams.
Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerised environments and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation.
Working knowledge of both Linux and Windows operating systems.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and open-source technologies.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
Able to work effectively in an agile and collaborative environment.
Knowledge of .NET, Python, JavaScript, Datadog or Snyk would be an added advantage.
