A DevOps Engineer (2-5 years' experience) based in Stellenbosch will design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure, build CI/CD pipelines, and implement monitoring and observability. Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2-5 years' experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role
- Strong Linux administration skills
- Experience with Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages
- Hands-on experience with containerised environments
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation tools including Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab CI/CD
- Cloud platform experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge of infrastructure security and automation best practices
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
Advantageous:
- PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB experience
- IoT, telemetry, or industrial technology exposure
- Relevant cloud certifications
- Quality management framework experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services
- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions

- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents
