DevOps Engineer – Power Platform & D365

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 in Azure, automate deployments, and enforce governance and security in a regulated financial-services environment.
Description
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer specialising in Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 (D365) to support, automate and govern our enterprise low-code and CRM platforms within a secure Financial Services environment.
This role goes beyond traditional DevOps. You will:
- Enable and optimise ALM and CI/CD for Power Platform and D365
- Manage and secure the underlying Azure infrastructure
- Support platform-level governance, compliance, and environment strategy
- Contribute to the broader Platform Governance team
You will play a critical role in ensuring our Power Platform and D365 estate is secure, scalable, compliant, and operationally resilient.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Automate deployments across development, test, UAT and production environments.
- Build reusable pipeline templates and improve release reliability and traceability.
- Provision and manage supporting Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
- Manage service principals, app registrations, identities and secrets used by deployment processes.
- Support application lifecycle management for Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Improve monitoring, logging and alerting across platform and Azure services.
- Investigate deployment failures and assist with platform incidents.
- Automate environment provisioning, administration and governance processes.
- Work with engineering, security and platform teams to improve delivery standards and operational resilience.
Skills and Experience
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar delivery tooling.
- Infrastructure as Code experience, preferably using Terraform.
- Good understanding of Git, branching, versioning and release management.
- Experience working with service principals, managed identities and secure secrets management.
- Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Application Insights or similar monitoring tools.
- Understanding of cloud security and controlled deployment practices.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- An interest in working with Power Platform and Dynamics 365 delivery and support processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics 365.
- Familiarity with Power Platform Build Tools, PAC CLI or managed solutions.
- Exposure to Power Platform environment and solution lifecycle management.
- Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus or API Management.
- Familiarity with automated testing, security scanning and quality gates.
- AZ-400, AZ-104 or another relevant Microsoft certification.
- Experience working in financial services or another regulated environment.
- Experience working within a platform or enablement team.

- AZ-400 - DevOps Engineer Expert
- PL-600 - Power Platform Solution Architect
- AZ-104 - Azure Administrator
- PL-200 / PL-400 (Power Platform Functional / Developer)
