We're looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong Python development skills to join a major UK Government digital transformation programme.
This is a development-focused DevOps role, ideal for someone with strong experience across Python, Go, AWS, Kubernetes and automation within secure, large-scale environments.
Key skills
- Strong Python development - backend systems, APIs, microservices & automation
- Go / Golang development experience
- AWS - EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch & Lambda
- AWS SDKs - boto3 / aws-sdk-go-v2
- Kubernetes API integration & automation
- HashiCorp Vault and secrets management
- LDAP / Active Directory integration
- CI/CD pipelines and Git
- Python testing - pytest, unittest & mocking
- Strong automation and API development experience
