Do you want to have a significant impact on how work is done at Apple? Radar is used by every major organization across Apple to help teams organize and track their work. As Apple’s primary tool for defining, tracking, and testing issues, Radar has been used for decades across various teams, including hardware and software engineering. It serves as a unified platform for bug tracking, test case management, and product management, facilitating seamless coordination among team members. The Radar Engineering team at Apple seeks an early-career DevOps Engineer to help build the pipelines and infrastructure that ship Radar.

As a DevOps Engineer for Radar, you will help build and run the pipelines that take Radar’scode from commit to production. Radar is Apple’s platform for product development, bugtracking, and work management, a high-traffic, business-critical system used by teams across all of Apple. Fast, safe releases are what let it keep pace with the company.

You will join a growing team distributed across California, Texas, and Ireland. In our highly collaborative environment, you will work closely with a team of passionate builders to deliver end-to-end features critical to Apple’s engineering workflows. You will receive structured mentorship, comprehensive training in Apple’s development practices, and the support to learn and develop your skills quickly. You will build, maintain, and automate CI/CD pipelines, environments, and infrastructure across a complex microservices ecosystem, and learn how a platform at this scale ships frequently without sacrificing stability. As you ramp up, you will take on increasing ownership of pipelines and environments, contribute to design discussions, and help bring new tooling and technologies onto the platform.

  • Fundamental understanding of Git workflows, version control best practices, and core CI/CD principles.

  • Hands-on experience or project work with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD).

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation) or cloud environments (AWS).
  • Curiosity about or hands-on experimentation with agentic workflows, LLM developer tools, or MCP integrations.
  • Clear, structured technical communication and analytical troubleshooting skills.
