DevOps Engineer

Summary

The DevOps Engineer will design, maintain, and secure scalable infrastructure on AWS, managing container orchestration and CI/CD pipelines for a vehicle telematics platform. Salary: £24,000 - 63,000 per year

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using AWS services including EC2, S3, Elastic IPs, Glacier, SQS, and Lambda
  • Manage and orchestrate containers using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Design and maintain a queue-based processing pipeline using RabbitMQ and AWS SQS for message and email queuing
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for system health and performance
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform
  • Work with development teams to streamline CI/CD processes
  • Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analyses, and ensure system reliability and uptime
  • Ensure secure cloud operations, managing access controls and best practices
  • Optimize cost, scalability, and performance of deployed resources
