DevOps Engineer
Summary
Build and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure with Helm, automate CI/CD pipelines, and develop backend services in Go while contributing to a TypeScript-based platform dashboard.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & DevOps
- Deploy, configure, and maintain platform services on Kubernetes (EKS) using Helm .
- Build portable infrastructure configurations to enable seamless migration across Kubernetes clusters without cloud lock-in.
- Build and optimize secure, automated CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
Backend Automation
- Develop platform tools, custom operators, and backend services exclusively in Golang .
- Work in a Go-centric engineering environment for backend, automation, and DevOps tooling.
Frontend & Platform Operations
- Develop and enhance IRM dashboard components using TypeScript and pnpm , collaborating closely with the Product Manager to implement UX designs.
- Improve platform observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Support BAU operations and participate in on-call rotations to ensure platform stability.
Engineering Practices
- Participate in Agile sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to engineering governance through RFCs (Requests for Comments) and ADRs (Architecture Decision Records) by actively participating in discussions and contributing to documentation.
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, Linux, networking, and cloud-native architecture.
- Hands-on experience or strong theoretical knowledge of Kubernetes, Containers, Helm, and EKS .
- Strong proficiency in Golang (mandatory for backend development, automation, and system tooling).
- Proficiency in TypeScript and pnpm for frontend development.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines .
- Strong coding practices with clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code.
