DevOps Engineer

Summary

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes clusters for enterprise-grade deployments using AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Terraform, and observability tools.

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer L3 to join our engineering team in Ortigas, Philippines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, container platforms, automation, monitoring, and security best practices. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, infrastructure automation expertise, and experience supporting enterprise-grade production environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
  • Implement configuration management and deployment automation.
  • Monitor application and infrastructure performance using observability tools.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices including vulnerability scanning and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
  • Optimize deployment processes and reduce manual operational efforts.
  • Document infrastructure architecture, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.

Required Skills

  • 6–9+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Strong experience with Linux administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as:
  • Jenkins
  • GitHub Actions
  • Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Knowledge of Git version control and branching strategies.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as:
  • Grafana
  • ELK Stack
  • Splunk
  • Understanding of networking concepts, DNS, Load Balancers, SSL/TLS, VPN, and firewalls.
  • Experience with secrets management tools such as HashiCorp Vault or cloud-native services.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and CI/CD environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience implementing GitOps using ArgoCD or Flux.
  • Knowledge of Helm charts and Kubernetes Operators.
  • Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
  • Exposure to Service Mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.
  • Experience with container security tools such as Trivy or Aqua Security.
  • Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
  • Experience supporting enterprise production environments with 24x7 availability.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
