DevOps Engineer

Summary

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate cloud infrastructure on AWS, and enforce security best practices for a fuel retail/POS-focused product team.

Requirements & Qualification



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field, or a Diploma with 2 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, infrastructure engineering or similar role is required for this position.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) and version control systems (Git).

  • Basic experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.) and configuration management.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

  • Preferably knowledge on ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, PCIDSS, ISO 31000, ISO/IEC 27005, or ISMS.

  • Entry-level cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or similar.

  • Entry level Cloud security certifications such as CompTIA Cloud+ or similar.

  • Experience in fuel retail or POS industries.


Responsibilities



  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.

  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing, monitoring, and deployment stages into the pipeline.

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, automated infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

  • Manage cloud-based infrastructure, primarily in AWS, ensuring operational efficiency and scalability.

  • Maintain internal tools used by the team such as Gitlab, SonarQube and any others.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in infrastructure automation and DevOps.

  • Document processes, configurations, and best practices for continuous improvement.

  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability.

  • Troubleshoot issues in build, deployment, and production environments.

  • Maintain disaster recovery strategies and backup solutions to ensure high availability and data protection.

  • Ensure infrastructure security complies with industry standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO, SOC-2.

  • Implement security best practices in the cloud and CI/CD pipelines.
