DevOps Engineer
Summary
DevOps Engineer supporting application deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure health in Toronto. Uses scripting (Bash, Python) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OpenStack) for automation and troubleshooting.
- Support application deployments, releases, hotfixes, and production implementations across environments.
- Monitor application, server, and infrastructure health to ensure platform stability and availability.
- Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and help reduce Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR).
- Automate operational tasks, validation checks, and routine support activities to improve efficiency.
- Provide DevTools and CI/CD pipeline support to development and operations teams.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and release management teams during change and deployment activities.
- Maintain operational documentation, knowledge repositories, and onboarding materials.
- Support monitoring, patching, certificate renewals, and other platform maintenance activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, automation, and operational excellence
- Troubleshooting cloud virtual machines using Open Stack and Cloudify or AWS, Azure, Bluemix, Google Cloud for development and production environments,
- Scripting and debugging cloud infrastructure provisioning automation,Delivering changes to development, test, and production environments.
- Scripting skills in Bash, Python, PowerShell, YAML, AWS, azure, cloud infrastructure basics and Azure Skills.
