Network Contracting is building a pipeline of DevOps Engineers in Johannesburg for upcoming client projects (no active role right now). Day-to-day: building and optimising CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure and deployments, and working with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Python/Bash scripting, and AWS/Azure/GCP cloud environments.
We work with a range of innovative organisations that are investing heavily in DevOps maturity, automation, and cloud-native development practices.
Although there is no active role right now, we are actively building a pipeline of DevOps Engineers for upcoming high-impact projects from transformation programmes to scaling digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments
- Work with containerisation and orchestration tools
- Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams
Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education
- Degree in IT, Engineering, or related field
Experience
- 37 years experience in DevOps / Automation / Platform Engineering
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Docker & Kubernetes
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
