Do you enjoy solving technical challenges and taking ownership of critical systems? **Then we have the right opportunity for you!**Our partner, a growing Swiss FinTech company operating a digital trading platform for institutional financial markets, is looking for a motivated **DevOps \& Infrastructure Engineer** to join its engineering team in Zurich.DevOps \& Infrastructure Engineer \- FinTech============================================### About the roleAs a **DevOps \& Infrastructure Engineer**, you will maintain production systems across cloud and physical infrastructure, automate operational processes and ensure the reliability and security of a trading platform used by financial institutions worldwide.Work tasks----------* **Infrastructure Operations:** Operate and maintain cloud environments and physical Linux servers, including storage, networking, operating system updates and hardware\-related issues. * **Infrastructure Automation:** Automate server provisioning, system configuration and deployments using Infrastructure as Code, scripting and CI/CD pipelines. * **Monitoring \& Incident Management:** Configure and maintain monitoring, logging and alerting systems, investigate production incidents and resolve infrastructure and application performance issues. * **System Reliability \& Recovery:** Implement and test backup, restore, failover and disaster recovery procedures to maintain production availability. * **Security \& Maintenance:** Manage operating system patching, access controls and infrastructure security measures in a regulated financial environment. * **Technical Collaboration:** Coordinate with internal engineering teams, external infrastructure providers and technical contacts at client organisations. ### Must\-Haves* **Experience:** At least 2\-3 years in DevOps, Linux System Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering or a similar role. * **Linux \& Networking:** Hands\-on experience with Linux systems, networking and troubleshooting. * **Cloud \& Automation:** Experience with cloud infrastructure, scripting ( /Bash) and automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible. * **DevOps Practices:** Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and production support. * **Working Style:** Reliable, independent and structured, with the ability to stay calm when resolving technical issues. * **Communication:** Strong English communication skills. and Bare Metal experience are advantages, not requirements.
