Infor are recruiting a Development Operations Engineer who thrives at the intersection of software engineering, automation, and operational excellence. This role is central to ensuring the continuous delivery and stability of Infor’s cutting-edge cloud-based enterprise software.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support seamless delivery of enterprise-scale applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to support build, test, and deployment automation.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively optimize infrastructure in AWS and other cloud environments.
- Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Contribute to the standardization and automation of development workflows and operational tasks.
- Support application scalability, security, and resilience in alignment with Infor’s cloud-first strategy.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to ensure high availability of services.
- Document processes, procedures, and solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in a DevOps, SRE, or related engineering role.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef).
- Experience of cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
- Experience with security best practices in cloud-native environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
- Experience working in regulated industries or following compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, etc.).
- Experience with Agile development practices and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
