What you’ll do
Operate and continuously improve a hybrid Kubernetes platform (on-prem + cloud)
Collaborate with the team to evolve:
Kubernetes workloads, operators, and internal tooling
Security guardrails and runtime hardening
Observability (metrics, logs, alerts)
Help implement, test, and refine disaster recovery and backup solutions
Participate in troubleshooting, post-incident reviews, and reliability improvements
Take part in a shared on-call rotation to support production systems, with clear runbooks and team support
Tech stack (current)
Kubernetes OS: Talos Linux
GitOps: Flux
Databases: PostgreSQL (CloudNativePG / CNPG)
Containers & CI/CD: Docker, container registries, CI pipelines
Observability: Prometheus, Grafana (or similar)
Cloud: AWS (EKS, ECR, S3)
You don’t need to be an expert in all of the above — we value solid fundamentals and willingness to learn.
What we’re looking for
Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes or container platforms
Comfortable operating Linux-based systems and CI/CD pipelines
Practical experience with production environments
Working understanding of security, reliability, and operational best practices
Comfortable participating in on-call rotations and incident response as part of a team
Enjoys collaborating, learning, and improving existing systems
Nice to have
Experience or exposure to Talos Linux
Familiarity with Flux or other GitOps tools
Experience operating PostgreSQL in Kubernetes (CNPG or similar operators)
Experience in platform, infrastructure, or SRE-style teams
