DevOps Platform Engineer - NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD.

Responsibilities:

• Build citizen- or officer-facing digital products, including APIs, backend services, and modern frontend applications.
• Develop secure data ingestion and ETL pipelines.
• Improve automated testing, test coverage, and overall engineering quality.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines on AWS.
• Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines, primarily on GitLab.
• Manage containerised workloads using Docker, ECS, and/or Kubernetes / EKS.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code, particularly using Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Establish observability, monitoring, and production operations practices, including incident response.
• Implement security controls - including authentication, authorisation, encryption, and audit logging - in line with compliance requirements.
• Modernise existing Java or platform-based applications, including legacy systems built on Salesforce, OutSystems, Appian, or Pega.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure
• Experience with Terraform or OpenTofu
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD
• Experience with Docker and containerisation
• Experience with ECS and/or Kubernetes/EKS
• Knowledge of cloud networking, monitoring and observability
• Experience supporting production systems and incident response
• Understanding of security and compliance controls
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Able to work independently and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Good to Have:

• Experience with Java/Kotlin, Python or TypeScript/React/Next.js
• Experience with Salesforce, OutSystems, Appian, Pega or Microsoft Dynamics
• Data engineering, ETL or event-driven architecture experience
