Summary
A DevSecOps Engineer in Central, Hong Kong (HK$40K–50K+/month) who builds and maintains secure CI/CD pipelines, integrates automated security scanning (SAST, DAST, AI code review, dependency checks) and automated testing, and acts as an independent quality/security auditor with authority to block failing merges.
Salary: $40,000 – $50,000 per month
Our clients seeking DevSecOps Engineer to strengthen secure software delivery pipeline. In this role, you will own the automation, security scanning, and quality gates that ensure every release is stable, secure, and production-ready. You will act as an independent quality and security authority, working closely with developers, infrastructure teams, and application architects.
Key Responsibilities:-
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline secure and reliable software delivery.
Implement and manage automated security scanning tools within the deployment pipeline, including AI code review, SAST, DAST, and dependency checkers.
Develop comprehensive automated testing suites, covering integration, end-to-end, and load testing.
Serve as an independent auditor for code produced by other developers and AI assistants - with the authority to block merges that fail security or quality checks.
Collaborate with Infrastructure and Application architects to enforce and uphold the deployment model.
Requirements:-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related technical discipline.
Experience: 3+ years in DevOps, security assessment, automated testing, or software quality assurance.
Technical skills:
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, security assessment tools, and scripting languages.
Experience with automated testing frameworks and AI-assisted testing development.
Mindset: Strong analytical skills with an uncompromising commitment to system stability and security.
