Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old (21+ years old required to operate company vehicles)
1-2 years of related trades experience preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Vocational or technical training may be substituted for experience
Currently enrolled in an accredited Apprentice Technician program is a plus
Basic computer skills, including timekeeping and repair order entry
Understanding of safe work practices and procedures

Key Responsibilities

Assist with inspection, maintenance, and repair of diesel vehicles and equipment
Perform preventative maintenance services
Learn diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques from experienced technicians
Accurately complete repair orders and documentation
Maintain a clean and safe work area
