DIESEL TECHNICIAN III - Charlotte
PURPOSE.
To maintain company equipment in accordance with company standards, while maximizing utilization and uptime with a focus on company cost objectives.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES.

Capable of performing most major repairs with limited guidance or supervision.

Repair equipment in the most effective manner with a focus on quality and cost control.

Perform effective diagnostic routines that identifies root cause and determine best repair method.

Provide mentoring and training to less experienced technicians.

Conduct all repairs in a manner that emphasizes personal and coworker safety.

Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Ability to deliver exceptional service through positive engagement and patience.

Ability to work in a team environment to continuously improve results.

Able to promote a culture of trust and safety.

Basic Hand Tools Required (Service Manager can provide list)

Technician must have Required list within 30 days of employment
Qualifications and Education Requirements.

High School diploma or equivalent

Proficient in computer based maintenance systems

Vendor sponsored training in major vehicle component
