A Digital Business Analyst joins a major redevelopment programme in Hawke's Bay, gathering, documenting and validating business, functional and non-functional requirements, facilitating stakeholder workshops, and translating business needs for digital, infrastructure and delivery teams working on new and refurbished facilities.
We are looking for an experienced Digital Business Analyst to join a major redevelopment programme in Hawke’s Bay.
Working across digital delivery, infrastructure design and wider programme teams, you will help define and translate business and digital requirements to ensure technology services are successfully incorporated into the design and delivery of new and refurbished facilities.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead requirements gathering and analysis across digital and technology workstreams
- Facilitate workshops with business, technical and programme stakeholders
- Gather, document and validate business, functional and non-functional requirements
- Translate business needs into clear requirements for technical and delivery teams
- Analyse current and future-state processes and identify gaps or dependencies
- Work closely with digital, infrastructure, facilities and design teams
- Support design reviews and assurance activities
- Document requirements, process flows, decisions and actions
- Identify risks, issues and dependencies that could impact digital delivery
- Support stakeholders through planning and design through to delivery
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst within digital or technology environments
- Experience working on large, complex programmes with multiple workstreams and stakeholders
- Strong requirements gathering, workshop facilitation and process analysis skills
- Ability to work effectively between business and technical teams
- Experience with functional and non-functional requirements
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience with digital infrastructure, facilities, construction or redevelopment programmes would be an advantage
- Comfortable working in a complex environment with multiple dependencies and changing priorities
This would suit a Digital BA who enjoys working closely with both business and technical teams and can bring structure and clarity to complex requirements.
