Job Description:

Solventum is Hiring a Digital Dental Solutions Senior Software Production Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled DDS Senior Software Production Support Engineer to support and continuously improve our internal 3D treatment planning platform. In this role, you will combine deep software engineering expertise with operational excellence to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical production systems used in the creation of patient treatment plans.

As a senior member of a cross-functional development team, you will apply expertise in software development, 3D mathematics, computational geometry, coordinate spaces, and 3D mesh processing to develop and support advanced workflow automation and treatment planning capabilities using Microsoft .NET and cloud-native technologies, while leveraging AI-enabled tools and automation to accelerate software development, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and operational excellence. You will work closely with end users, software architects, product leaders, quality, regulatory, cybersecurity, and DevOps teams to identify opportunities for improvement, resolve complex production issues, and deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Being an active member of a high performing software development team to design, develop, and support software solutions and workflow automation capabilities using Microsoft .NET and cloud-native technologies.
• Apply expertise in 3D mathematics, computational geometry, coordinate systems, and mesh processing to enhance treatment planning capabilities and solve complex technical challenges.
• Develop a deep understanding of the software application and end-users to clearly identify opportunities for improvement and prioritize issues
• Lead investigation, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of production issues to ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with end users, architects, product leaders, and cross-functional partners to prioritize improvements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Define and implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational support practices that improve observability and operational excellence.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools, automation, and engineering best practices to accelerate software development, testing, documentation, and production support activities.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• High School Diploma.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, production support, DevOps, or related technology roles, including technical leadership and solution design responsibilities.
• Strong expertise in C#, Microsoft .NET, Azure cloud services, WPF, Web APIs, relational databases, and modern DevOps practices.
• Solid foundation in 3D mathematics, computational geometry, coordinate systems, geometric transformations, and 3D mesh processing, with experience developing geometry-based algorithms and visualizing complex data.
• Experience troubleshooting complex distributed systems, integrations, and interoperability challenges, with strong systems-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, multi-threaded applications, memory management, and scalable software architecture.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating across Product, Quality, Regulatory, Cybersecurity, and Architecture teams.
• Experience applying AI-enabled development, automation, and productivity tools to improve software delivery, quality, documentation, and operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into reliable, maintainable, and scalable technical solutions.

Work location:

• Hybrid Eligible - Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to the GCC at least 3 days per week
