Purpose of the job
This role focuses on accelerating the growth and adoption of Orange Egypt's digital healthcare portfolio—including but not limited to HMIS, HIS, Telemedicine, Insurance, and Health Information Exchange (HIE)—by securing new clients and building strategic partnerships across Egypt's healthcare ecosystem.
Duties and responsibilities
Craft and implement full-cycle sales plans targeting public/private hospitals, clinics, insurers, government health authorities, and pharmaceutical companies across Egypt
Manage complete sales process from lead generation through contract closure and post-sale support
Collaborate with presales, product, delivery, and marketing teams to customize solutions and ensure seamless client onboarding
Build relationships with C-level executives, IT directors, clinicians, and procurement teams
Own sales budget, forecasting, and reporting to meet revenue/growth targets
Maintain accurate pipeline of digital healthcare opportunities for reliable forecasting
Lead negotiations and stakeholder coordination to finalize strategic partnership agreements
Drive end-to-end sales aligned with Orange Egypt's business priorities
Monitor market trends and client needs to identify expansion opportunities and portfolio enhancements
Job specification
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, technology, or related field (5–8 years relevant experience)
Minimum 5 years in sales, business development, account management, or HCIT solutions
Minimum 5 years proven track record handling government relationships/projects in healthcare or public sector
Demonstrated success in competitive digital health/software sales environments
Strong negotiation, consultative selling, and stakeholder management skills; fluent English required
Basic understanding of IT infrastructure (connectivity, hosting); software sales process knowledge advantageous
Skills and abilities
Degree in healthcare, IT, or equivalent; clinical background strongly preferred
4–7 years sales/business development experience, ideally in digital health/Medtech
Proven success navigating government procurement and delivering national-scale projects
Commercial acumen and software sales cycle familiarity highly valued
Excellent Arabic/English communication for diverse stakeholders
Strong time management, deadline-driven performance in fast-paced environments
Collaborative team player with continuous learning mindset
