- Provides care, concern, shelter and a homelike atmosphere for students, including providing ministry and prayer as needed, strictly following Bloom policy in regard to ministry
- Enforce all house / program rules with students
- Oversee student activities to ensure general safety of all students and staff
- Administers medication to students and keeps accurate medication logs
- Monitors student phone calls with family and takes notes as necessary on communication
- Oversees laundry process for students
- Responsible for helping new student acclimate following intake, as well as assisting in student dismissals and completions
- Facilitates searches of students both leaving for visits and returning from visits
- Help prep and oversee meals
- Assists with food pickups, and maintains proper labeling and storage of food
- Maintain cleanliness of the residence
- Keeps an account of all money spent on shift
- Responsible for writing shift notes
- Assistance with the maintenance of student files

Requirements
- Full and part time positions are available
- Nights & weekend availability is a must
- High School education / GED required
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or completed within first 7 days of employment)
- Held a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 4 years, and has an insurable driving record for the last 3 years
- Commitment to continued education and training as required by licensing agency. (20 hours)
- Minimum of 6 months child care experience
- Must be spiritually mature with strong character
- Must be able to attain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Must not have any record of felonies or any charges that would prevent passing of a CORI criminal history background check
- Strict adherence to the HIPAA and Adult & Teen Challenge New England policies regarding confidentiality is required
- Maintain and comply with all governmental and organizational standards and expectations
