DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP) COMMUNITY - OPTIONS PROGRAM

VARIOUS SHIFTS WORKING 1-1 WITH CLIENTS IN THE COMMUNITY – WEEKDAYS, EVENINGS and/or WEEKENDS

PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME DIRECT CARE (DSP) POSITIONS AVAILABLE.

• Work 1-1 or with a small group in the individual’s home or in the community.
• Schedules may vary.
• The employee uses their own vehicle to transport individuals. Mileage reimbursement, $0.65/mile.

Benefits for DSPs:

• $.50 per hour increase after 6 months of employment
• All positions are eligible for matching 401K
• 30 HPW (hours per week) or greater positions are offered vision insurance at no cost; medical insurance is available for the employee at $15 per pay period

DSP Requirements:

• Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Be 18 years of age or older.
• With EHCA's assistance, the ability to obtain all clearances as required to meet regulatory compliance. This includes Act 33 (PA child abuse), Act 34 (PA criminal background check, Act 73 FBI fingerprint clearance, and the National Sex Offender Database. For applicants who have lived out of state in the last 2 years, the Department of Aging clearance is required.
