Direct Support Professional - Weekends
What You Get To Do:
A Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect.
- Support safety, dignity, independence, and personal growth.
- Assist with daily living, mobility, hygiene, housekeeping, and laundry.
- Provide encouragement and complete required documentation.
What Makes You A Great Fit:
- At least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license and ability to transport people served; some roles require a personal vehicle and insurance
- Dependable, compassionate, adaptable, and team-oriented
- Basic communication, computer, and documentation skills
- Ability to pass required background clearance
