Director, Human Resources, Supply Chain (Quebec)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Director to support our network of five warehouses across Quebec. As a key member of the Supply Chain leadership team, you will serve as a trusted advisor to operational leaders on labour relations, employee relations, talent management, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. You will lead a team of HR Business Partners and play a critical role in fostering positive employee and labour-management relationships while supporting business performance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Focus On

Labour relations and human resources matters

Provide strong suppor for HR and labour relations mattesr for warehouse operations across Quebec.
Build and maintain constructive and collaborative relationships with union representatives, employees, and operational leaders.
Provide expert support for interpretation and application of collective agreements, employment legislation, and company policies.
Support grievance resolution, disputes and workplace issues while minimizing organizational risk.
Provide expert guidance regarding discipline, attendance, performance, accommodations, administrative matters and terminations.
Lead or support workplace investigations involving harassment, discrimination, misconduct or policy violations.

Leadership Partnership & Coaching

Serve as a trusted advisor to Supply Chain leaders on complex people matters.
Coach leaders in performance management, conflict resolution, accountability and engagement.
Strengthen leadership capability through development initiatives and coaching
Lead the employee lifecycle including onboarding, goal setting, performance reviews, development planning, talent reviews, succession planning and retention initiatives.
Partner with leaders to identify talent needs and strengthen engagement and retention.

HR Team Leadership

Lead, coach and develop a team of HR Business Partners.
Foster a high-performing and collaborative HR team culture.

What You Will Bring

Minimum 10 years of progressive HR and Labour Relations experience.
Strong unionized environment experience.
Expert knowledge of collective agreement administration, grievances, employee relations and workplace investigations.
Knowledge of Quebec employment and labour legislation.
Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
Knowledge of English is required, as the candidate will be expected to work closely with peers in other provinces in planning, developing and implementing processes and participating in key national strategic projects.
