Director of Engineering
You will lead the technical direction and standards for frontend applications. You will partner with Staff Engineers, lead Engineering Managers, address monorepo workflow bottlenecks, improve release engineering and deployment automation, and promote AI-enabled client experiences.
Responsibilities
- Drive a pragmatic frontend strategy with Staff Engineers.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in large-scale monorepo workflows.
- Evaluate the technology stack and workforce model to improve engineering leverage.
- Advocate for product virtualisation and observability systems.
- Deliver a modern release engineering model with comprehensive automation.
- Prioritise high-frequency, predictable deployment cycles.
- Provide thought leadership on AI and agentic client-side solutions.
- Explore AI approaches to optimise frontend performance, automate interactions, and personalise member experiences.
