Director of Safety & Security
Summary
Oversee safety and security operations for a luxury hotel, implementing emergency plans and ensuring compliance with regulations while managing a team.
- Lead the hotel's safety and security operations, ensuring the protection of guests, Heartists, visitors, and hotel assets.
- Develop and implement security, emergency response, and crisis management procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire, and security regulations.
- Manage risk assessments, incident investigations, and business continuity planning.
- Collaborate with hotel departments and local authorities to maintain a secure operating environment.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Safety & Security team.
- Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in safety and security, including 3 years in a leadership role within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of security operations, fire life safety, emergency preparedness, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Previous experience with an international hotel brand is an advantage.
