Job Description

The Director, Print & Signage Solutions provides creative, technical, and operational leadership for print, signage, and experiential graphic programs. This role is responsible for developing team capabilities, establishing standards and workflows, supporting complex event programs, and advancing visualization technologies and creative processes. The Director serves as both a leader and active contributor, providing creative direction while developing signage systems, visual identities, print collateral, presentations, and experiential solutions for key programs.

Successful candidates will have the following:

• Have extensive experience designing signage systems, print collateral, visual identities, and experiential graphics.
• Enjoy mentoring designers and helping others elevate their craft.
• Are viewed as a technical resource for print production, fabrication, and installation.
• Can lead creative reviews and provide thoughtful feedback that improves both the work and the designer.
• Have experience collaborating with creative, CPM, account, production, and vendor teams.
• Understand both the creative and operational realities of executing large-scale event programs.
• Enjoy exploring emerging technologies and developing new workflows.
• Can balance strategic leadership with hands-on creative contribution.
• Are comfortable supporting programs through planning, installation, and onsite execution.
• 8+ years of experience in graphic design, print, signage, experiential design, environmental graphics, or related creative disciplines.
• Experience leading or mentoring creative professionals.
• Strong knowledge of print production, fabrication, installation, and vendor management.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience building standards, workflows, and scalable creative systems.
• Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel for site visits and onsite event support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 3D visualization tools such as Blender,
• Adobe Dimension, Twinmotion, Vectorworks, or similar platforms.
• Experience supporting live events, experiential programs, or environmental graphic installations.
• Experience leading training initiatives or department-wide process improvements.
• Familiarity with emerging visualization, AI-assisted, and spatial design workflows.

• Lead, coach, and develop designers through mentorship, training, and project-based learning.
• Identify skill gaps and create opportunities for professional growth.
• Develop and facilitate workshops focused on print production, signage planning, and 3D visualization.
• Foster cross-disciplinary skills across creative teams.

Process

• Serve as the department's technical authority for print, signage, and experiential design solutions.
• Establish standards, templates, documentation, and best practices.
• Develop collaborative planning tools that improve communication between CPMs and designers.
• Drive workflow improvements that increase efficiency, consistency, and visibility across programs.

Programs

• Provide technical creative direction on print-intensive and high-profile programs.
• Create signage systems, print collateral, visual identities, presentations, and other key creative deliverables.
• Support site visits, venue assessments, installation planning, and onsite execution.
• Partner with program teams to ensure successful delivery from planning through installation.

Innovation & Visualization

• Lead the development of 3D visualization workflows and presentation tools.
• Support rendering, virtual walkthroughs, and spatial design presentations.
• Introduce technologies that improve communication, collaboration, and client engagement.
• Explore future applications of visualization and digital signage within the organization.
