Director - Vehicle Environmental Homologation Testing & Compliance

We're looking for a Director of Environmental Vehicle Testing that will lead a team of engineers dedicated to executing regulatory-driven environmental certification and compliance test programs. Sound judgment, excellent communication skills and the ability to drive decisions through consensus and influence change are a must. This role reports to the Vice President of Vehicle Environmental & Safety Homologation & Compliance.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage test plans to meet vehicle/regulatory timing requirements
• Provide status updates to all levels of management
• Balance workloads within team, as significant spikes may occur during critical time periods
• Foster strong relationships with engineering teams to overcome vehicle/performance issues as they are identified during testing
• Promote close working relationships with test lab & facility personnel to receive appropriate prioritization and remove bottlenecks

Team members are located at both the Chrysler Technology Center (CTC) in Auburn Hills and at Chelsea Proving Grounds (CPG) in Chelsea, MI. Support onsite at both locations may be required periodically.
