Dishwasher (Part-time) - Magnolia Gardens

Key Responsibilities

Wash dishes, pots and pans, cutlery and utensils. Stack and rack dishes, return inventory items to the proper storage areas.

Carry out all aspects of routine and rotational cleaning throughout the kitchen, including, but not limited to, sweeping, washing, polishing and scrubbing various surfaces.

Cleaning of appliances and food storage areas, washing floors, walls, fixtures and doors and cleaning and polishing stainless steel countertops.

Understand the use of and application of cleaning chemicals and the ability to complete testing for chemical and sanitation levels.

Comfortable using a commercial dishwasher and related equipment.

Perform other related duties as required.

Education & Experience

Minimum grade 10 education

Valid Food Safe Level 1 certificate

WHMIS certification

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

An ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships

Experience in the efficient and safe operation of relevant kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies

Must be able to lift 50 pounds and have the stamina to be on their feet for up to 8 hours

Fluent in written and oral English.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision
