The
District Resource Person will be responsible for managing overall program in
close coordination with SACS and implementing agency. His/her would be
responsible to keep close liaison with Government Departments at districts
level, SACS and DAPCU/TSU Conduct data analysis and prepare monthly reports for
review and reporting to SACS. Review the performance of LWS staffs, prepare
need based monthly action plan and follow up the action points, facilitate the
SACS and DAPCU/TSU visits.
Key
Responsibilities
- Supervise works delegated to other members of the
team and mentor them.
- Facilitate recruitment of staff as per the
Guidelines in case of vacancies..
- Development of district implementation plan
ensures approval by competent authorities.
- Monitor the implementation of district plan and
submit progress reports as per requirement.
- Ensure training of all staff when they join and
training by STRC.
- Make field visits, meet and coordinate with
stakeholders at district and block level to address issues related to
implementation of the scheme.
- Support SACS/DAPCU in implementing various
activities such as Condom Program me, Folk Media Activities, Mass Media
campaigns, Health camps etc.
- Work with various government departments ensuring
that the target groups are enrolled, receiving necessary services if they are
eligible.
- Play key role in advocacy at all levels against
stigma and discrimination.
- Compile reports and ensure analysis by M&E
assistant for programmatic gaps.
- Submit program and financial reports on time to
SACS/DAPCU or any other agency.
Requirements
Program
Management – draw up action plans,
work plans for different cadres with prioritization, review program
implementation, provide inputs to program design tailored to the district
situation and provide supervisory inputs to the different cadres of personnel
in the scheme.
Linkages – work with different departments in the government at the
district level, civil society partners including positive networks, PRI members
and other divisions under NACP-III at the district level.
Reporting– interpret reports and feed back into program implementation, share
results in an easy-to-understand manner with Supervisors and Link Workers, compile
program updates and share highlights and challenges.
Fund
Management– allocate funds, supervise M
& E cum accounts assistant on submission of accounts and budget
preparation.
- Post graduate in social sciences preferably a degree in social work from
a premium institute or university.
- Around 5 years’ experience in development sector especially on
prevention of HIV/AIDS project at the middle level.
- She/he must be self-driven and have demonstrable experience of
managing and monitoring team.
