Dot Net Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated ASP.NET Developer to join our ESOP & Insider Law division. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using the .NET / ASP.NET framework, along with a good understanding of databases, APIs, and software development practices.

The role will involve working on client-facing projects, understanding business requirements, developing scalable solutions, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-quality applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET / .NET.
  

• Develop and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API, and related technologies.
  

• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
  

• Work with relational databases such as MS SQL Server and write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and database operations.
  

• Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions.
  

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and performance-related problems.
  

• Develop clean, maintainable, reusable, and scalable code.
  

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, frontend developers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  

• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding and development standards.
  

• Perform unit testing and support application testing and deployment.
  

• Work on application enhancements, maintenance, and new feature development.
  

• Understand client requirements and contribute to timely delivery of projects.
  

• Maintain technical documentation wherever required.
  

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in the .NET ecosystem.
  

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in ASP.NET / .NET development.
  

• Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core.
  

• Good knowledge of MVC architecture and Web API.
  

• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic frontend development concepts.
  

• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server and relational database concepts.
  

• Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and API integration.
  

• Experience with Git or other version-control systems.
  

• Good understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles.
  

• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
  

Good to Have

• Experience with .NET 6/7/8 or later versions.
  

• Knowledge of Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core.
  

• Familiarity with Angular, React, or other modern frontend frameworks.
  

• Exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms.
  

• Understanding of CI/CD and deployment processes.
  

• Experience working on client-facing software projects.
  

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
