Summary
Creates and reviews CAD drawings for construction projects, converting sketches into technical documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
Our esteemed client in the Construction industry is seeking a Drafter to join their dynamic team:
- Employment Type: Permanent
- Position: Drafter (MEP/ Architectural/ Structural)
- Location: Central
- Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm/ 9am to 6pm
- Salary Package: Up to $4,200 + Variable Bonus
Job Responsibilities:
- Translate handsketches, mark-ups, and process/mechanical designs into CAD systems.
- Produce shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordinate the integration of engineering and M&E plans.
- Review all drawings for technical accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company/ project quality standards.
- Maintain systematic filing, update revision history, and archive all project drawing files.
- Prepare engineering documentation and drawing submittals for clients and stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings, provide timely technical support to the engineering team, and contribute to drafting methodologies and workflows.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum a Diploma in Civil Engineering or its related discipline.
- At least 1 year of related experience as a 2D CAD drafter. A background in building, construction, structural, architectural, or MEP systems is highly preferred.
- Proficient in MEP drawing, AutoCAD software and MS Office.
- Knowledge of Revit software for MEP system design is an added advantage.
