Functional roles and responsibilities

• To deliver items/products from the warehouse to the retail stores as per the process and ensure proper documentation is maintained with high customer satisfaction.
• Receive the delivery schedule from the delivery supervisor and deliver it to the stores at the specified date and time.
• Ensure the items are handled with care and delivered to the stores without any damages.
• Handle all complaints and concerns of the stores related to the delivery process, damages caused during transportation of items courteously, and escalate them to the delivery supervisor or customer service for appropriate resolution.
• Organize and maintain all the store acknowledgements and receipts and submit them to the delivery supervisor.
• Ensure delivery vehicle is roadworthy and is in good condition.
• Maintain HSE practices in the working environment in order to minimize the opportunity of damaged property and injury to self and colleagues. Proactively remind colleagues to behave in line with the HSE processes defined by the company.
• Check and verify the cartons before and during vehicle loading for quality and quantity checks.
• All returns and store to warehouse or store transfer stocks are duly handed over to warehouse storekeeper on the same day and obtain acknowledgement as proof of delivery.

1 to 2 years furniture/retail delivery experience

Knowledge and skills

• Good communication and interpersonal and customer handling skills
• Valid UAE driving license (category 3 manual)
