Driver
JOB PURPOSE:
The Warehouse Driver plays a key role in supporting daily operations by safely pulling, loading, transporting, delivering, and unloading merchandise to company stores and approved vendors. This position is responsible for accurately fulfilling requisitions, maintaining organized inventory handling, and ensuring all products are moved efficiently and in good condition. The Warehouse Driver helps maintain the flow of goods between the warehouse and multiple locations, supports warehouse staff with loading and staging materials, and upholds all safety and company standards while operating company vehicles. This role directly contributes to smooth store operations by ensuring timely deliveries and dependable service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Drives a five ton or heavier truck to deliver merchandise to requesting stores or vendors.
- Ensures merchandise is delivered on time and in good condition.
- Loads and unloads containers of merchandise safely and efficiently.
- Verifies and interprets material requisitions at the point of delivery.
- Maintains the assigned truck by performing routine inspections, checking fluid levels, monitoring tire condition, and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Keeps the vehicle clean and organized at all times and ensures compliance with company safety and maintenance standards.
- Assists with staging, organizing, and preparing outgoing merchandise in the warehouse as needed.
- Follows all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies while operating the vehicle.
- Completes delivery logs, mileage records, and any required documentation accurately and on time.
- Communicates effectively with warehouse staff, store personnel, and supervisors regarding deliveries, discrepancies, or delays.
- Supports general warehouse operations when not on delivery routes, including lifting, moving, and organizing inventory.
