Driver Support Specialist

- Coordinate and schedule the movement of trucks and drivers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Communicate with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and real-time support.
- Monitor and track truck locations and shipment statuses, addressing any delays or issues.
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize logistics operations.
- Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and document communications.
- Respond to and resolve emergencies, accidents, or incidents during shifts.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
- Support drivers with route planning, fueling, and other logistical needs.
- Post-secondary education; a focus in supply chain or logistics is an asset.
- Demonstrates ability to analyze complex situations and develop solutions.
- Strong team player who’s comfortable working independently or with others, and easily adjusts to different work styles and environments.
- Flexible and agile in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to think critically and adapt strategies to achieve results
- Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Availability to work night shifts
