DSP Dispatcher/Manager DJZ6, Linden NJ

We are seeking an experienced DSP Operations Manager & Dispatcher who possesses extensive knowledge of Amazon DSP operations and logistics management. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English and Spanish), has strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and can effectively manage daily fleet and driver operations while maintaining compliance with Amazon standards.

This individual will serve as a key member of the leadership team and be responsible for dispatching drivers, monitoring route performance, ensuring operational efficiency, coaching employees, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily DSP operations and dispatch activities.
• Coordinate and monitor driver routes to ensure successful deliveries.
• Review route performance metrics and implement strategies to improve productivity.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to delivery associates.
• Conduct driver check-ins and debriefs before and after routes.
• Monitor attendance, schedule adherence, and workforce performance.
• Communicate operational updates effectively in both English and Spanish.
• Ensure compliance with Amazon DSP safety standards and company policies.
• Investigate and resolve delivery issues, customer concerns, and operational challenges.
• Manage fleet utilization and coordinate vehicle maintenance needs.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) including Delivery Completion Rate, DCR, Safety Metrics, POD, and Driver Performance.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Foster a positive team culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as the primary point of contact during operational incidents and escalations.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of Amazon DSP management, dispatching, or operations experience.
• Strong understanding of Amazon DSP operations, policies, and performance metrics.
• Previous experience supervising drivers or transportation teams.
• Experience with route planning, dispatch systems, and logistics operations.

Language Skills

• Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
• Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce.

Technical Skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience reviewing operational reports and performance data.
• Familiarity with Amazon DSP tools and applications preferred.

Leadership Skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT, fleet, and transportation safety regulations.
• Experience with driver engagement and retention initiatives.
• Proven history of meeting or exceeding Amazon performance metrics.
