Are you fluent in Dutch and English, confident in communicating with clients, and interested in building a career in insurance services?
We are looking for a Customer Support Consultant for an international insurance project, based in Lisbon, Portugal.
You will provide professional support to clients and insurance brokers, answering policy-related questions and helping to resolve inquiries accurately and efficiently.
Your Role
As an Insurance Customer Support Consultant, you will:
• Handle client inquiries through inbound and outbound phone calls.
• Respond to emails related to insurance products and services.
• Provide clear information on policy coverage.
• Assist with policy cancellation requests.
• Help insurance brokers find appropriate support.
• Explain insurance-related procedures accurately and professionally.
• Address client concerns with patience and empathy.
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records.
• Follow relevant operational and quality standards.
• Working with colleagues to deliver excellent customer satisfaction.
What We Are Looking For
• Dutch at C2 level.
• English at B2 level.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using computers and digital tools.
• Ability to remain calm when handling challenging inquiries.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in insurance or customer service is an advantage.
Working Hours
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating shifts between 7:30 am and 8:00 pm.
• Public holidays in Portugal may be working days.
• Saturdays and Sundays off.
Salary & Benefits
Indicative Monthly Financial Package: €1,551.19
Based on a 12-month equivalent:
• Base salary: €1,100 gross/month, paid in 14 annual salary payments.
• Holiday and Christmas bonuses: Combined monthly equivalent of €183.33.
• Complexity bonus: €100 gross/month, paid over 11 months of the year.
• Meal allowance: €7.63 per eligible working day, equivalent to €167.86 for 22 days.
Potential Performance Bonus
• Up to €100 gross/month, subject to performance criteria.
Potential monthly package including maximum bonus: €1,651.19.
Additional Benefits
• Initial 6-month employment contract.
• Monday to Friday working hours.
• Experience in international insurance operations.
• Professional and multicultural work environment.
These figures are based on a month that includes the complexity bonus and 22 eligible meal allowance days, with holiday and Christmas bonuses expressed as monthly equivalents. Actual payment amounts and their timing may vary. Performance bonus is not guaranteed, and meal allowance is separate from gross salary.

This position is based in an office in Lisbon.
Candidates must already reside in Lisbon or be willing to relocate.
