Duty Manager - Fairmont Agra
- Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure seamless service delivery across all departments
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house and back-of-house staff to maintain service standards and operational efficiency
- Address guest concerns and complaints promptly, ensuring resolution and guest satisfaction
- Monitor and maintain security protocols, guest safety, and property protection throughout the shift
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, maintenance standards, and compliance with hotel policies
- Manage emergency situations and coordinate appropriate responses in accordance with hotel procedures
- Prepare and submit detailed shift reports documenting incidents, guest feedback, and operational issues
- Liaise between departments to ensure effective communication and collaborative problem-solving
- Support revenue management initiatives and assist with occupancy optimisation strategies
- Conduct staff briefings and provide guidance on service excellence and operational procedures
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations across all areas of the hotel
- Manage key control systems and maintain security of restricted areas and valuables
- Assist with staff training, induction, and performance management as required
- Respond to maintenance requests and coordinate with engineering teams for timely resolution
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a hotel operations or duty management role within a luxury hospitality environment
- Proven track record of managing multi-departmental teams and coordinating staff across front-of-house and back-of-house operations
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems (PMS) and property management software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively across all levels of staff
- Demonstrated ability to handle guest complaints and resolve conflicts with professionalism and discretion
- Sound understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations applicable to hospitality establishments
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays as required
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience in a 5-star or luxury hotel property
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Knowledge of emergency management and crisis response procedures
- Experience with revenue management and occupancy optimisation strategies
- Proficiency in multiple languages, particularly Hindi or other regional Indian languages
- Previous experience in staff training, induction, and performance management
- Familiarity with security systems and access control protocols
