Dynamics 365 Developer (Business Central) - Hybrid/Morning Shift

Salary: ₱180,000 – ₱250,000 per month

About the role

The Systems & Automation Developer is a critical role responsible for transforming Design By Them's operational systems into a seamless, highly efficient machine. Working alongside the Head of Systems, you will be the hands-on builder driving our technology forward. You will continuously extend our ERP, Business Central, automate manual workflows across departments, build trusted real-time reporting, and leverage modern AI tooling to make our end-to-end supply chain, manufacturing, and e-commerce operations run smarter.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AL extensions including custom pages, tables, workflows, and core business logic

• Connect Business Central with external systems via APIs and web services; manage testing, validation, and fixes ahead of BC release waves and upgrades

• Refine data structures and validation inside BC to ensure clean, accurate downstream reporting

• Build and maintain high-performing Power BI semantic models, DAX measures, dashboards, and reports for leadership and department heads

• Transition teams away from manual spreadsheets and reduce ad-hoc data pulls by empowering staff with reliable, self-serve dashboards

• Manage dataset performance, refresh schedules, and gateway connections for maximum reliability

• Identify, quantify, and automate manual, repetitive processes across departments to reclaim valuable time across the team

• Build custom internal utilities, scripts, and API integrations using JavaScript/TypeScript

• Seamlessly integrate systems (BC, Power BI, e-commerce, project management, and finance tools) via REST APIs, webhooks, and scheduled jobs

• Document architectures, APIs, and workflows thoroughly so systems remain clear, readable, and maintainable by others

About you

• 3 years commercial experience developing and supporting core business systems in a production environment

• Hands-on experience writing AL code, developing custom extensions, and building BC APIs (beyond basic admin or configuration)

• Advanced knowledge of DAX, semantic data modelling, and creating intuitive, self-serve dashboards

• Solid JavaScript / TypeScript skills with experience building REST integrations, working with JSON payloads, and managing authentication flows

• Daily, practical use of AI tools (Claude, Gemini, Copilot) to accelerate development, with the ability to articulate how they enhance your workflow

• Proficient with Git, branch management, and collaborative development best practices

• Ability to translate high level business needs into technical specs, explain trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders, and execute independently against a prioritised backlog
