Early Career Water Resources Engineer

RESPEC seeks an Early Water Resources Engineer for our Sarasota, or Tampa, FL location.

The Early Career Water Resources Engineer will be involved with all types of planning, design, and specialty services relating to community improvements, environmental compliance and permitting, infrastructure resiliency, stormwater engineering, and watershed modeling for our public and private sector clients.

Required:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field, from an ABET-accredited program
  • Strong passion for a civil engineering career
  • Certification as an Engineer Intern, or a commitment to pass the Fundamentals of Engineering examination within 1 year of start date

Preferred:

  • Experience with ArcGIS Pro and Civil 3D
  • Knowledge of developing and guiding construction plan preparation
  • Practical application of various hydrology/hydraulics software (e.g. BMP Trains, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HSPF, ICPR, MODRET, StormCAD, StormWise, SWMM, etc.)
