Key duties
Plan, implement and assess engaging, inclusive curriculum aligned to EYLF, NQF and service philosophy.
Observe, document and report on each child’s learning and wellbeing; develop individual learning plans.
Create safe, nurturing, well-organised learning environments and uphold child-safe practices.
Collaborate with educators, mentor assistants, and contribute to continuous improvement and quality documentation.
Communicate professionally with families and external stakeholders; participate in team meetings and compliance processes.
Skills
Strong knowledge of early childhood pedagogy, intentional teaching and reflective practice.
Skilled in observation, assessment, documentation and programming.
Excellent communication, collaboration and behaviour-guidance capabilities.
Ability to differentiate for diverse learners and support inclusion.
Solid understanding of WHS and regulatory compliance within the NQF.
Qualifications and experience
Bachelor of Early Childhood Education.
QCT registration (or eligibility) and current Blue Card.
Current First Aid/CPR, including asthma and anaphylaxis management (or willingness to obtain).
At least 1 year of experience as an Early Childhood Teacher.
