Summary
Monitor company safety activities and programs to ensure a safe and accident-free work environment for all employees. Conducts facility and vehicle handling safety audits for all employees. Assists with conducting OSHA training, and investigating vehicle accidents and injuries.
Responsibilities
Primary
Monitor the work environment for possible hazards such as slips, trips, falls, electrical shock, and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
Conduct inspections of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity.
Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
Assist with entering accident and injury reports into PMvitals.
Conduct safety audits, to include PPE, observing safety procedures, etc.
Issue citations to employees out of compliance
Secondary
Assist Safety Manager in all safety programs.
Assist with security audits / investigations
Assist with issuance / deactivation of access badges
Assist departments in safety procedure
All other duties assigned
Education & Experience
High School Diploma/G.E.D
Must hold a valid state-issued driver's license without restrictions
Experienced in Safety
Knowledge of OSHA standards
