Responsibilities
- Lead facilities design activities across new data center developments and expansions
- Validate and verify HVAC and electrical designs during design and construction phases
- Own and maintain technical documentation for both construction and operational handover
- Act as the link between construction teams, vendors and operations to ensure designs are delivered as intended
- Review and sign off on HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure and critical facility layouts
- Support commissioning, testing and transition into live operations
- Contribute to long term site planning, capacity modelling and design standardisation across regions
Required Skills
- Strong experience in data center facilities design
- Hands on HVAC design experience including validation and verification
- Experience with 11kV and 33kV electrical systems
- Background working through construction phases of data center projects
- Ability to review, challenge and approve third party design submissions
- Comfortable producing and maintaining detailed technical documentation
- Experience supporting commissioning and operational handover of critical infrastructure
