ELECTRICAL DRAFTER
Job Description
- Prepare and revise M&E drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software.
- Produce detailed shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings.
- Interpret engineering designs, sketches, and specifications into technical drawings.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineers to resolve design conflicts.
- Ensure drawings comply with local regulations, project specifications, and company standards.
- Maintain accurate drawing records and document revisions.
- Assist in site coordination and update drawings based on site conditions when required.
- Support project teams by providing technical drafting assistance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants to ensure proper integration of M&E systems.
- Perform other drafting and technical duties assigned by management
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in M&E drafting (fresh graduates with strong drafting skills may also be considered).
- Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems and construction drawings.
- Familiar with local building codes and industry standards.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Good time management skills with the ability to meet project deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines , with flexibility to work extended hours when required.
