Our Client is looking for a motivated Electrical & Electronics Engineer who enjoys hands-on technical work and is keen to develop a long-term engineering career.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, service and test electrical and electronic equipment.
Carry out fault finding on electrical, electronic and electromechanical systems.
Assemble, wire, modify and integrate electrical and electronic components and systems.
Perform preventive maintenance, calibration and functional testing of equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
Prepare service reports, inspection records and repair documentation.
Support equipment commissioning, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and site activities where required.
Maintain workshop tools, instruments and test equipment.
Ensure all work complies with company quality, safety and technical procedures.
Assist senior engineers with system upgrades, product improvements and technical projects.
Provide technical support to internal departments and customers when required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline preferred.
- Approximately 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in electrical and electronic troubleshooting, servicing or repair.
- Fresh Diploma graduates with exceptional practical experience may also be considered.
- Able to use common electrical and electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies and insulation testers
- Good understanding of electrical circuits, electronic components and fault diagnosis techniques.
- Able to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Willing to work both in the workshop and at customer sites when required.
Possess a positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong problem-solving skills.
