KBR is looking for an electrical supervisor who is responsible for ensuring electrical assets are reliable and available in order to keep process units in operation.

To lead, supervise, and coordinate activities of maintenance technicians’ team and focus on compliance with the preventive maintenance plan and an efficient and effective development of breakdown maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and facilities within his area of influence, applying the best and safe maintenance practices.

Coordinate with SATORP area supervisor the execution of monthly and weekly maintenance plan. Control. Submit progress reports to the respective area maintenance supervisor on a regular basis.

Provide onsite maintenance and repairs on all types of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, and motors. Ensure that maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with SATORP’s standards, specifications, safety procedures, manufacturer’s recommendations, and contract terms.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate the day-to-day activities of electrical maintenance developed by technicians on all electrical systems, plant, equipment, and facilities within the designated area of responsibility. He is the focal point for daily electrical maintenance execution plan.
• Ensure that technicians comply with and apply SATORP's safety and quality procedures during the execution of electrical maintenance activities.
• Conduct frequent site visits to ensure proper execution of work and check on the activities of technicians engaged in routine maintenance.
• Lead and manage technicians assigned to his area.
• Receive work directions from the electrical foreman in relation to electrical systems maintenance orders and requests and ensure translating these directions into actions.
• Follow up on electrical maintenance work progress and submit regular progress reports to the electrical foreman with recommendations.
• Keep a record of daily maintenance work against planned maintenance programs and prepare work completion reports, where applicable.
• Work closely with the electrical foreman in recommending and implementing changes aimed at improving the availability and reliability of electrical and instrument systems within the designated area of responsibility.
• Assist in implementing engineering modifications and enhancements to electrical equipment by making recommendations to increase the suitability and serviceability of electrical systems.
• Enforce SATORP’s policies, procedures, and regulations and ensure that all safety measures and precautions are strictly considered and taken during onsite maintenance works.
• Demonstrate proactive safety aptitude and behavior.
• Possess strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing electrical systems.
• Have good knowledge in electrical equipment design, installation, and maintenance.
• Have strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing mechanical and electro-hydraulic systems.
• Have good knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance principles and working procedures.
• Have strong knowledge of standards, procedures, and regulations to develop activities taking care of health, safety, and environmental preservation.
• Possess strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to perform work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Able to work synergistically and capable of handling multiple tasks.
• Good command of oral and written English.
• Ensure that personnel have the skills, training, and all needed resources, equipment, and tools to conduct routine maintenance activities in a safe and effective manner, according to the contract terms and conditions.
• Hold certification of IECEx to repair explosion-proof motors.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in oil & gas maintenance – high school.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in oil & gas maintenance – diploma.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of oil & gas facilities.
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations.
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems.
• Strategic management skills.
• An ability to achieve business results working in a multi-cultural environment.
• Flexibility to travel internationally and live in KSA.
