Join DOF as our Electro Technical Officer (ETO)

DOF Australia is seeking experienced Electro-Technical Officers with (III/6) certification and experience delivering Construction, Multi-purpose Subsea, Anchor Handling and/or Platform Supply Offshore vessel operations within the Oil and Gas Industry. Full Time opportunities are available to join our Marine team and navigate our world class fleet of vessels.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and administering all electrical, electronic installations, machinery automation, DP and navigation systems, as well as communication and network systems.
  • Ensuring the electronic equipment onboard is suitable and compatible with the vessel electrical supplies.
  • Checking electronic equipment and ensure it complies with the regulations.
  • Managing a detailed log where all maintenance is recorded.

Requirements

  • Electro-Technical Officer Certificate III/6 COC with a minimum of two years Offshore Oil and Gas experience.
  • Demonstrate ETO DP Vessel competencies in an Offshore Maritime environment.
  • DP-KPOS certified is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical skills.
  • Hold a current MISC or will be able to obtain one
  • Compliance AMSA or NORWEIGAN medical.
  • Hold a BOSIET-CAEBS is beneficial.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • A team player with a flexible, adaptable and resilient approach.
  • Highly service minded, enthusiastic and solution oriented.

Location

This position will be based offshore in Australian waters with occasional opportunities internationally.
